Dr Samira Warren is an experienced employment and career development professional with more than five years of experience supporting migrants, refugees, international students, graduates, job seekers, career changers and internationally qualified professionals to navigate the Australian labour market. She has supported more than 1,500 job seekers and professionals through personalised career planning, employment assessments, resume and application development, interview preparation and job-search strategy.
As Founder of Samira Career Pathways, Dr Warren provides culturally responsive and outcome-focused career support to people from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds across Australia. Her work focuses particularly on helping migrants and internationally qualified professionals translate their overseas qualifications and experience into the Australian employment context, identify realistic career pathways, strengthen their applications, and build the confidence and skills required to progress towards sustainable employment.
She brings strong experience in individualised employment planning, job readiness, career transition, interview coaching, employment pathways, stakeholder engagement, and supporting people facing barriers such as limited local experience, unfamiliarity with Australian recruitment practices, and cultural or language challenges. Her services are delivered in English, Persian (Farsi) and Dari, enabling her to work effectively with culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
Dr Warren also brings a strong academic, research and higher education background developed across Iran and Australia, complementing her practical work in career development and community employment support.
