Dr Adel Sepehr is a respected scholar of Persian literature, history, and cultural heritage, with a lifelong dedication to preserving and promoting Iran’s intellectual traditions. His deep knowledge of classical Persian texts, historical narratives and cultural symbolism informs a distinctive approach to cultural interpretation, community engagement, and cross‑cultural dialogue. Dr Sepehr’s passion for Iranian heritage, combined with his ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity and depth, makes him an invaluable contributor to cultural understanding within the Iranian‑Australian community.
Alongside his humanities expertise, Dr Sepehr is an internationally recognised environmental and geoscientist whose career spans academic leadership, interdisciplinary research, and global sustainability initiatives. A former Associate Professor at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and Executive Member of the International Association of Geomorphologists (IAG), he has presented at major international forums including TED, UNESCO, FAO, and UNCCD, and has been honoured as a Distinguished Professor for excellence in education and scientific influence.
